SIOPSA KZN IS HAVING ITS NEXT EVENT IN MAY - DON’T MISS IT!
The Society of Industrial and Organisational Psychology (South Africa), KwaZulu - Natal branch is pleased to invite you to our next event to be held on the 20th of May 2010 at the Durban Country Club.
We have two co-presenters for this event entitled “The Psychological Correlates of Flow”. Gideon de Kock and Jenny Highley will be speaking on the research that Gideon de Kock conducted for his Doctorate exploring Neurofeedback Training and how it can be used to generate learning that brings about changes in behaviour and performance back in the ‘real world’ and on the job.
About the Speakers:
Gideon de Kock is a qualified Industrial Psychologist with experience in behavioural assessments, management training and organisational development that covers several industries, such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Service Delivery and Public Sectors
Jenny Highley is a qualified research psychologist with both primary and secondary research experience in commercial and academic settings with a strong emphasis on psychological issues, including man-environment relations, consumer behaviour and organisational situations, including psychometric testing.
Practitioners will obtain 2 CEU points towards their required yearly CPD accreditation by attending this event as well as getting the opportunity to network with other practitioners in the field. Please remember to obtain a CEU certificate you must book electronically.
In an effort to keep fees manageable for our members, the KZN SIOPSA committee has decided to substitute our normal breakfast with refreshment breaks. We hope that members will take advantage of the reduced fee price and come and join us on the 20th.
