SUMMARY:Academy - People Excellence To Gain A Competitive Edge In A Disruptive Innovative World - 17 September 2026
DESCRIPTION:SIOPSA Academy presents... \nPeople Excellence To Gain A Competitive Edge In A Disruptive Innovative World \nIn the current disruptive innovative\, ideas-experience-based world\, people are the only true value unlockers and wealth creators in organisations. Why? Because this world is fuelled by the power of people’s imagination\, creativity\, and ingenuity. Concurrently\, the war for talent has shifted from not merely attracting people (the hard talent war) to providing (hyper-) personalised\, purpose-driven\, meaningful work experiences of thriving\, and hence personal fulfilment\, for people (the soft talent war). \nPeople have become central to the continued viability of organisational performance and success in the present and future. Organisations must be great at making their people thrive. Their people are the best they can\, and want to be. People Excellence has become a strategic imperative for organisations. Strategically knowing the state of an organisation’s People Excellence – its “people creditworthiness” – has become mission-critical for every organisation\, in the present and future. \nThe purpose of this one-day Workshop is to enable participants to conduct a strategic organisational stress test of the people creditworthiness of their organisations\, indicative of its People Excellence. The application of this stress test will assist in the identification of strategic people interventions to bring about People Excellence in their organisations. The interventions will create the organisational conditions under which people will be able to flourish and thrive\, and consequently feel fulfilled in their organisations. In this way\, an organisation will win the soft talent war. \nThis Workshop Benefits are... \n\nStrategically frame and position People Excellence in the new world of work\nExposure to the best thought-leadership\, latest research\, and cutting-edge practices regarding People Excellence\nUnderstand how to diagnose in an integrated\, systemic manner the People Excellence of an organisation\, its people creditworthiness\nBe capacitated to enable the unleashing the synergistic fusion of lasting People Excellence within their organisation\n\nWho Should Attend \n\nIndustrial and Organisational Psychologists and People Professionals who work in the Organisational and People Effectiveness/Development Domains with at least 3 years of experience.\n\nEVENT DETAILS \n\nDATE: 15 October 2026\nTIME: 09h00 - 17h00\nCPD:  8 Clinical CEU\n\n FACILITATED BY \n\nProf. Theo Veldsman

SUMMARY:Academy - Designing Fit-For-Purpose Organisations For A Different Future - 12 November 2026
DESCRIPTION:SIOPSA Academy presents... \nDesigning Fit-For-Purpose Organisations For A Different Future \nThe way organisations are designed – its Operating Model – has a profound effect not only on the organisation’ ability to execute its strategy successfully\, but also on its optimal resource deployment and utilisation\, the efficiency of its mode of working\, the conduciveness of its culture and dynamics\, consequently on its overall performance. And\, ultimately on its continued viability. An organisation can indeed compete by its design. The new world of work requires organisations to re-examine their existing designs from first principles in a zero-based way. \nThis one-day Workshop aims to capacitate participants with a high-level understanding of the what\, why\, how\, who and whereto of organisational design. The Workshop is based on the latest thinking and practices regarding OD\, and the extensive practical experience of Prof. Theo Veldsman – the workshop facilitator – gained from close on 60 OD consulting assignments over about 35 years across multiple industries\, nationally and internationally. The Workshop also makes extensive use of case studies to illustrate OD-in-action. \nAfter attending\, delegates will have gained deep insight into OD as a critical organisational discipline and key executive leadership task. They will have a well-grounded\, comprehensive and high-level understanding what the designing of a fit-for-purpose organisation entail. \nThis Workshop Benefits are... \n\nSeamlessly merge the latest theory and practice of OD;\nPresent a comprehensive\, integrated route map of OD;\nOffer real case studies to show participants how to apply OD pragmatically at work.\n\nParticipants will receive a comprehensive workshop workbook supplied to participants once they have registered for the workshop. \nWho Should Attend \n\nIndustrial and Organisational Psychologists and People Professionals who work in the Organisational Effectiveness/Development Domain with at least 3- 5 years of experience.\n\nEVENT DETAILS \n\nDATE: 12 November 2026\nTIME: 09h00 - 17h00\nCPD:  8 Clinical CEU\n\n FACILITATED BY \n\nProf. Theo Veldsman
