Change Management Capability & Practice

Date: 23 November 2017

   Venue: Nedbank Head Office, 105 West Street, Sandown, Sandton

SIOPSA Academy invites you to build your Change Management Capability that will enable you to lead, navigate and enable change

Executives, leaders and managers need to be more agile and responsive to deal with multiple organisational changes ranging from leadership transitions, mergers - acquisitions, new regulations, shifting client/customer & staff demographics to technological innovations and digital disruptions. Though change management has been around still many change projects fail as shown in many evidence based studies. The key to success is to increase change management capability.

Change management (CM) therefore becomes a necessity to successfully lead and enable these change(s).  CM needs to be a structured approach to help individuals, teams and organisations transition from the current often volatile, uncertain and unpredictable state to a more desirable end state(s).

Why you need to attend

This workshop will equip line managers, project managers, HR, Organisation Development practitioners on:

  • Understanding key challenges, issues and change drivers using design and systemic thinking;
  • Practical insights to develop CM framework and approaches;
  • Crafting CM plans using project management principles;
  • Alignment of the technical to the people life-cycle;
  • Learning to use practical CM tools and techniques from readiness, stakeholder mapping, communications, change agent coalition network building; impacts to benefits realisation and improved resilience;
  • Understanding the psychology of change and cycles;
  • Using personal lessons to gain insights for sustainable change success
