SIOPSA Earlybird Membership

This time of year is traditionally very busy for us! We have recently concluded a successful and content-rich Annual Conference and August 1st also marks the start of SIOPSA’s new financial year (1 August 2016 - 31 July 2017). On this note, I would like to thank those of you who have participated in the conference and look forward to new growth and learning during this year.
Based on the questions and discussions we had with pre-members throughout the past reporting year as well as at the conference, I thought this a good opportunity to ask you to consider joining SIOPSA and also share how the SIOPSA membership can work for you.
1. Membership renewal
Renew your membership by 31 October 2016 and pay before 30 November 2016 to get your membership at a substantially reduced rate.
You will not only receive discount on your membership fees, but you will also qualify for a generous discounted registration fee for the 2017 SIOPSA Annual Conference. The 2017 Early Bird discounted Conference fee will ONLY be extended to those members who renew their membership by 31 October 2016.
Next year’s Annual Conference is scheduled for 25-27 July 2017.

Join one of our eight (for now!) Interest Groups – learn from, connect and contribute to the body of Industrial and Organisational Psychology (IOP) knowledge and best practice methodologies:
2.2 SIOPSA Academy
Keep a look-out for networking and dialogue opportunities offered by the SIOPSA Academy. This platform is a mechanism for knowledge brokering in a virtual, not-for-profit organisation with many diverse members spread across the country. It creates and leverages platforms and partner with like-minded individuals and organisations to facilitate the sharing of scientific and practice-orientated knowledge as well as best-practice know how.
The SIOPSA Academy builds on existing learning from tertiary institutions, the internship programme and CPD offerings to enhance and elevate IOP as a profession by sharing knowledge.
2.3 Local and International partnerships

Our MOU with SIOP, in particular, offers a number of benefits for our members. Join SIOPSA now to qualify for a 50% reduced SIOP affiliate membership fee and 75% reduced SIOP student membership fee.
While still in the pilot phase, SIOPSA’s Corporate Membership offering also promises to enrich our corporate as well as individual members.

Access our free eCPD activities. You can also obtain CPD accreditation for your events and activities through SIOPSA, which has received accreditor status from the Health Professional’s Council South Africa (HPCSA) in the categories of IOP and Psychometry.
