Farewell to Juliette

Dear SIOPSA member and colleagues
This month we say goodbye to a stalwart in the SIOPSA Office.
Juliette Powell has been with us for 4 ½ years. Most of our members and external stakeholders know her as the friendly and efficient voice at the other end of the phone line. All of us have benefited from her event management skills – the SIOPSA Annual Conference being a case in point.
While we are sad to see a good friend and colleague depart, we are happy for Juliette who will be moving to a position more closely aligned with her professional aspirations.
Juliette, we wish you well in your new job. Thank you for your commitment and hard work; your new employer is fortunate, indeed!
I will communicate with members regarding new developments in the SIOPSA Office in due course.
Warm regards,
Nadene Venter

SIOPSA introduces all of their Interest Groups

According to Nadene Venter, SIOPSA COO, “Just as our members are the lifeblood of the Society, the SIOPSA interest groups are the main arteries ensuring that the whole body is well looked after from both an intellectual and practical, experiential viewpoint. It is in the interest groups, where thought leadership is the order of the day, which members can really drill down into a particular field and engage in a meaningful way while remaining at the forefront of trends and new developments.”
