Description
SIOPSA INTEREST GROUP PSYCHO-LEGAL PRESENTS
CONTINGENCIES – What are they and how do IOPs contribute to them
26 May 2023
CPDS APPLIED FOR
This webinar explains what contingencies are, how they are applied to address indirect losses, the underlying case law, and their monetary impact on claims. In addition, the phrase “the exact financial impact of these risks cannot be predicted and should be dealt with by means of a higher than normal post-accident contingency” will be explored, and appropriate levels of contingencies to address specific factors on individual claims will be investigated.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND
This event will provide insight into underlying factors to consider when dealing with contingencies as an IOP. You will gain a better understanding of how contingences are used in the quantification process and how, as the IOP, you can add valuable insights to the court for determining appropriate contingencies to apply to a case.
