Defining the scope of the profession of Psychology

Date: 16 November 2018

Venue: NMU, Main Building, 10th floor, Seminar Room (South Campus)

A Board notice was published in the Gazette no.41900 vol 639 on 12 September 2018 whereby the Minister of Health intends to make regulations in the schedule regarding the definition of the scope of the profession of psychology.

Invitations are open to all concerned to provide input to the Minister before 13 December 2018. The proposed regulations will have far-reaching implications for all psychology professionals and it is, therefore, imperative that we review the proposed regulations and submit our feedback prior to the regulation being accepted.

We invite all psychology professionals to join us for a discussion on the scope of the profession of psychology as it pertains to Industrial Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Research Psychologists, Neuro Psychologists, Registered Counsellors and Psychometrists.
