Neuroleadership in the workplace
Background of topic:
In a fast-paced and changing world there is a need to both engage and network with like-minded professionals in a manner that is real, focused and valuable. To this end, SIOPSA EC together with the NeurLeadership Institute will facilitate a conversation around the application of NeuroLeadership in the workplace. The NeuroLeadership Institute is a global research-driven leadership institute that focusses on applied neuroscience in the business context with an aim to transform leadership through neuroscience. Headquartered in New York City, we are excited to have their South African Branch facilitate a session here in the Eastern Cape. The focus will be on applied neuroscience in the leadership context and what this means for Industrial psychologists and HR professionals in various sectors who are actively facilitating positive individual and or organisational behaviour change and high-performance culture which has become the holy grail of most organisations in the VUCA world.
Facilitator: Rob Jardine
Rob is the Head of Research and Solutions for the Neuroleadership Institute South Africa. He holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Organisational Psychology from Rhodes University, University of Johannesburg and the Unversity of Valencia. Rob started his career off in the South African construction sector before moving to Germany to join the team that re-engineered the global performance management culture for the Adidas Group.
