SIOPSA ACADEMY PROUDLY PRESENTS
Workplace counselling and goal-setting
CPDS APPLIED FOR
In the context of growing mental health needs, industrial psychologists are in ideal positions to respond by offering workplace counselling. However, many authors have alluded to the fact that South African industrial psychologists feel unprepared to take up this challenge. While most professionals in the psychology field have been exposed to different therapeutic frameworks, it is often the practical application that creates uncertainty.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND
In response, this workshop will focus on the use of goal-setting strategies to ensure your clients’ progression during the counselling process. You will get the opportunity to sharpen your skills with fellow industrial psychologists to enhance your proficiency as a counsellor.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Independent, Emerging, and Student Industrial Psychologists
