As Founder-Director of DynamicDialogue, he brings over 20 years of OD consulting, executive coaching, leadership development, and training-facilitation experience.

He partners with executives, senior leaders, managers and teams:

To promote and develop authentic, values-based leadership and workplace wellbeing.

He has designed and been executive coach lead and supervisor for corporate leadership-pipeline coaching programmes.

He is an international and local conference speaker, masterclass facilitator, and a published author of a peer-reviewed research chapter on Coaching & Consulting for Authentic Leadership (Springer, Coaching Psychology).

He has worked extensively across private and public sectors:

Financial services, banking, insurance, transportation, energy, engineering, manufacturing, mining, education, healthcare, technology, HR, consulting, and government.

Coaching psychology approach

Steven’s clients value his perceptive and engaging coaching presence. He creates a deeply reflective, co-creative and safe thinking space for cultivating client insight and wisdom.

His approach integrates metacognitive mindset, emotion and behaviours — creating meaningful, valuable and sustainable shifts in both work performance and personal development.

The coaching integrates both transactional-performance and transformational-developmental goals — enabling leaders to ‘Be’ and ‘Do’ intentional and authentic values-based leadership, by optimising emotional and relational intelligence, and workplace wellbeing.

He uses psychological theories and evidence-based practices that incorporate depth and positive psychology, neuroscience, internal family systems, contextual behavioural science, somatics, and systems thinking.

Transformational coaching transcends short-term goals and challenges by addressing the client's deeper structures — he applies both trauma-informed ‘bottom-up’ and ‘top-down’ approaches to achieve this.

The title of her PhD is “The contribution made by coaching to MBA leadership development at a South African business school.”

Coaching psychology work — scope and experience

Her knowledge of coaching has grown and developed over the past twenty years through academic studies, course development at the Wits Business School and practical experience. In 2007 she developed the “Effective Coaching” course together with a colleague. She developed the Certificate Programme in Leadership Coaching (CPLC) for the MBA Alumni in 2009. The course was designed to provide trained coaches for the MBA students’ “Leadership Coaching Programme” that she developed the same year. She taught, supervised and directed these two programmes from 2009 to 2017.

She gained in-depth knowledge of coaching through writing her PhD. She used this knowledge to develop and teach two courses on the Masters in Business and Executive Coaching (MMBEC): “Psychological Acumen Underpinning Coaching” and “Leadership in Organisations.

In her twenty years at the WBS she provided career coaching for over 550 post-graduate students. She also had more than 20 private coaching clients during this time.

Coaching psychology work — scope and experience

Olga runs a consulting psychology and coaching private practice. She has been in private practice for 17 years. Her life purpose is to enable leadership, personal growth, interpersonal relationships and opportunity thinking.

After a corporate career in HR and OD, she started her practice in 2008.

Her coaching psychology work includes over 8000 hours’ individual executive, leadership and group coaching, and process facilitation of over 15700 hours. Industries include financial services, manufacturing, mining, retail and healthcare.

She is experienced in executive and leadership coaching, both one-on-one and teams.

The title of Olga’s doctoral thesis was “Exploring interpersonal and inter-group diversity dynamics in South African organisations by means of a theoretical model”.

She is married, has two children, and lives in Pretoria.

Coaching psychology approach

Olga’s coaching approach draws on three psychological paradigms: Existentialism (people have agency), Systems Psychodynamics (individual and collective unconscious often drives behaviour), and Positive Psychology (strengths and attitude are human enablers).

She becomes a thinking partner to her clients by listening, providing feedback, supporting, challenging, asking thought-provoking questions, scenario planning, brainstorming, and developing different perspectives on topics that matter. This results in greater self-awareness and confidence, opportunity thinking, better decision-making, authentic leadership and improved relationships.

Her coaching model integrates the five life domains described by Gosling and Minzberg (Harvard Business Review, November 2003) as The Five Minds of a Manager: Self, Relationships, Work, Context, and Change.

She makes use of psychometric assessments if required, e.g. EQi2.0, MBTI Step II, Enneagram, Career Anchors, and 360° measures of leadership competence, whether bespoke (qualitative) or a quantitative instrument such as The Leadership Circle.

She creates a reflective, safe, and co-creative environment where clients feel genuinely seen — empowered to reconnect with their core selves, especially when fear or uncertainty may cloud their thinking in work and life contexts.

Her approach integrates a Humanistic framework with Systems Psychodynamics — honouring each client’s inherent potential for growth, self-awareness, and self-actualisation, while also illuminating the unconscious patterns and organisational dynamics that shape behaviour. This dual lens enables meaningful, values-aligned shifts in both performance and personal development.

Her coaching addresses transactional and transformational goals: empowering clients to identify their strengths, develop authentic leadership presence, and build sustainable pathways to success. She draws on psychological theories and evidence-based practices that incorporate positive psychology, systems thinking, character strengths, emotional intelligence, and career development frameworks.

Anchored in the values of wisdom, courage, intuition, communication, and relatedness, her coaching philosophy holds that every encounter is an opportunity to listen deeply, act with integrity, and grow — in service of both the individual and their broader communities.

Thandiwe brings over 23 years’ experience in human capital, work psychology, organisational development, change and diversity management, leadership assessment and development to her coaching practice. Her background in performance, career and team coaching gives her coaching a transformational, reflective, and therapeutic dimension, helping clients process and accept change rather than simply comply with it.

Her work integrates leadership development and executive coaching, giving her a grounded, multi-disciplinary view of how individuals perform under pressure and change.

Her Neuro Life Coaching is embedded in scientific approaches which are client-focused, incorporating principles and philosophies of helping clients with resilience to challenges, developing skills of resilience, and reflective and developmental thinking to navigate life and work.

She partners with organisations and associates, including Deloitte, on team coaching and organisational development initiatives. She has coached leaders from Executives to Line managers and individuals on a private basis. She works with various coaching hubs such as Hello Coach, My Pocket Coach, and Psychology Today as an associate.

Her blend of organisational development expertise and hands-on executive coaching allows her to support clients holistically, addressing performance outcomes and the underlying psychological shifts required to sustain them.

Coaching psychology approach

Thadiwe’s coaching psychology approach is grounded in positive psychology. She believes that lasting change begins with greater self-awareness and quality thinking. She works from the premise that thoughts shape emotions, and emotions influence behaviour, reflecting the Stoic philosophy of Epictetus that people are influenced not by events themselves, but by the meaning they assign to them.

Her coaching is strengths-based, client-centred, and outcome-focused, guided by the values of authenticity, collaboration, psychological safety, and respect. She creates a reflective environment that enables clients to challenge limiting assumptions, develop new perspectives, and translate insight into meaningful action.

Drawing on Nancy Kline's Thinking Environment, she facilitates deeper thinking through attentive listening and purposeful questioning. Her practice is also informed by Kolb's Experiential Learning Model, encouraging clients to reflect on their experiences to build self-awareness, enhance learning, and support sustainable behavioural change.

Having completed postgraduate training in multiple coaching modalities at Stellenbosch University, she adopts an integrative, evidence-informed approach that is tailored to each client's goals, context, and developmental needs. During her training, she developed a structured coaching model that forms the fundamental pillars of her approach.
