Designing Fit-For-Purpose Organisations For A Different Future
The way organisations are designed – its Operating Model – has a profound effect not only on the organisation’ ability to execute its strategy successfully, but also on its optimal resource deployment and utilisation, the efficiency of its mode of working, the conduciveness of its culture and dynamics, consequently on its overall performance. And, ultimately on its continued viability. An organisation can indeed compete by its design. The new world of work requires organisations to re-examine their existing designs from first principles in a zero-based way.
This one-day Workshop aims to capacitate participants with a high-level understanding of the what, why, how, who and whereto of organisational design. The Workshop is based on the latest thinking and practices regarding OD, and the extensive practical experience of Prof. Theo Veldsman – the workshop facilitator – gained from close on 60 OD consulting assignments over about 35 years across multiple industries, nationally and internationally. The Workshop also makes extensive use of case studies to illustrate OD-in-action.
After attending, delegates will have gained deep insight into OD as a critical organisational discipline and key executive leadership task. They will have a well-grounded, comprehensive and high-level understanding what the designing of a fit-for-purpose organisation entail.
This Workshop Benefits are...
